Acapulco Gold may be a well-known strain, but the strain is considered a bit of a rarity. Those who have been lucky enough to have tasted this strain however have been very positive in their feedback. Hailing from the Acapulco region of Mexico, the Barneys Farm breeders have continued to push Acapulco Gold’s feminised cannabis seed genetics.
The plant is not only named after the region in which it comes from but also its beautiful appearance. Acapulco Gold is a wash of greens, oranges, yellows and browns when flowering time rolls around. The breathtaking plant is covered in shiny crystals packed full of THC.
The strain produces a lingering smoke that will hang around for hours after use. The intense fruit cocktail can be smelt from meters away. The pungent aroma is very sweet with earthy undertones of pine. Acapulco Gold is also a treat for the taste buds. The complex flavour palette offers a buffet of rich coffee, zesty citrus fruits and sweet creaminess.
The effects of Acapulco Gold are also another standout feature. The strain leans heavily on its Sativa genetics with a 70% Sativa content. This induces an uplifting cerebral high. Many users will find a massive boost in energy and creativity after a few tokes of Acapulco Gold. These Sativa effects make Acapulco Gold a fantastic daytime smoke.
